Manuel Corradine

Born in Bogota, Colombia, in 1973, Manuel Eduardo Corradine graduated from the School of Graphic Design at the National University of Colombia in 1996. He is a self-taught calligrapher and began by designing fonts to order, as well as for exclusive use by his company, Casa Papelera El Cedro (the Cedar Papermaking House)., which prints invitation cards.

Together with fellow type designers Carlos Fabián Camargo Guerrero, Walter Diethelm, and César Puertas, he formed the group Tipográfico to improve typography in his native Colombia.

In 2006, he founded Corradine Fonts, based in Bogota. Since its inception, it has produced more than 30 typefaces. Many of his own fonts are based on his calligraphy work.
