Robert Strauch
Robert Strauch studied Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, Germany (1994-99) and extended this basic training through another year at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, France. He founded his own studio in 2001 and teaches calligraphy, type design, and typography in various workshops and seminars.
In 2005 he was honored with the TDC 2 award for his oldstyle typeface Fabiol TF. He publishes his typefaces under the label Lazydogs that he cofounded in 2005 with fellow type designers Oliver Linke and Kai Büschl.
