Continental Type Foundry

The Continental Type Founders Association was founded in 1925 by Melbert Brinckerhoff Cary Jr. to import type to the USA from European foundries. It was based in New York City, USA.

The foundry also distributed typefaces designed by Douglas Crawford McMurtrie and Frederic W. Goudy, who were vice-presidents of the company in 1925 and 1927.
