llse Schüle (1903-1997)
llse Schüle was a German designer and typographer. She studied with F. H. Ernst Schneidler at the Kunstgewerbeschule Stuttgart and became his assistant and lecturer. From 1930 onwards she worked as a freelance artist, designing several book covers for the Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt publishing house in Stuttgart. In 1951 she designed the typeface Rhapsody for Ludwig & Mayer.
