Rudolph Hell (1921-1981)
The Dr. -Ing Rudolph Hell company was founded by the inventor Rudolph Hell in 1929 in Babelsberg, Berlin.
It developed machines for electronically engraving printing plates, and a photo-typesetting system called Digiset
His company was taken over by Siemens AG in 1981 and merged with Linotype in 1990, becoming Linotype-Hell.
