Photo Lettering
Photo Lettering Inc, known as PLINC, was founded in 1936 by Edward Rondthaler to set headlines and advertising text using photocomposition. Their designers included Robert Alonso, Vincent Pacella, Victor Caruso, and Ed Benguiat.
In 2003, House Industries purchased the assets of Photo Lettering Inc. and in 2011 launched a Photo-Lettering service to make photoset lettering available in digital format.
