Travis Stearns
Travis Stearns, born in 1983 in the suburbs of Minneapolis, studied graphic design at North Carolina State University in Raleigh where he received his Bachelors of Graphic Design (BGD) in 2006. Upon finishing school, Travis was named one of Print Magazine's New Visual Artists in 2008.
In the two years working for YouWorkForThem under the direction of Michael Cina, Travis developed several experimental fonts including Valley, Morricone, Motown, Pineapple, Basel, and the now ubiquitous hand-drawn font, YWFT Hannah.
Travis currently lives in Los Angeles where he co-directs the studio OVAL-X ETERNAL.
