Herbert Post (1903-1978)
Post had a career as a teacher, typographer and printer. He was yet another of German artists who studied calligraphy under Rudolf Koch. His designs are strongly influenced by calligraphy. His most well-known typeface was Post-Antiqua. He remained in Germany all his life and eventually became Director of the Munich Meisterschule.
