Michael Stipe
Michael Stipe is the lead vocalist of the rock band R.E.M. He is also a photographer and designer, and is responsible for the band's visual image, including album artwork design and video direction.
With Chris Bilheimer he co-designed several fonts for use on the band’s artwork, and with the help of type foundry TypeTrust these have now been released commercially.
