Alberto Di Santo

Alberto Pedro Di Santo was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, in the middle of the last century. He graduated in Design and Visual Communications, in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

As a graphic designer he specialized in lettering and publishing in foreign languages (including among others Latin, Arabic, and Chinese), due to his work experience across three continents.

For more than ten years he was Art Director of an Arabic TV network and currently he is a consultant for FAO (UN) in Rome and for various private companies.

Since 1988 he has worked as a teacher at I.E.D. Rome. He held several courses at the “La Sapienza” University and at the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome.

His early works were published in 1971, in the good old days of molten lead, the dry transfers Letraset, Pantone markers and the first imagesetter. Today, he works with Macintosh and uses most of the existing graphics applications.
