Adam Twardoch
Born 1975 in Poland, Adam Twardoch now lives in Berlin, Germany's thrilling capital, where he works as typographic consultant to worldwide clients. While leaving the task of designing new typefaces to his more talented colleagues, Adam specializes in what he is good at: multilingual typography and font technology.
He is scripting products and marketing manager at Fontlab Ltd. and typographic consultant at MyFonts. He also works for other companies including Linotype, Monotype, Adobe, Bitstream, Corel, Microsoft, Winsoft, and Tiro Typeworks. Most recently, Adam worked with Underware, Carl Crossgrove, Andreas Seidel, and Lukasz Dziedzic on multilingual extensions of their typefaces.
He started several typeface designs on his own, but this work is proceeding slowly. 2000-2006, Adam was Board member and country delegate for Poland at Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI), of which he remains a member. He frequently writes and lectures about typography and font technology.
