Information about the typeface designer Nicholas Garner and his fonts.
Good fortune secured Nicholas Garner his first job with the prestigious Conran Design Group in 1966, where he trained for several years as a lettering artist and graphic designer. His first company, Garner Multimedia Ltd was established in 1971 to create mixed-media presentations. In the intervening decades he has run several design companies and worked in presentation media of all descriptions – for live events and on screens both large and small. Excursions into furniture design, fashion show production and photography did nothing to diminish his fascination with the printed word and how it looks.
He now works from his London home designing for print, multimedia and the web. When clients aren't clamouring for his attention (which is at least some of the time) he designs typefaces and creates fonts.
