Brian Jaramillo
Brian Jaramillo is a self-taught designer, journalist turned entrepreneur and typophile. His work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Dallas Morning News, and The Oregonian. He was a designer at the Chank Company foundry and ran his own clothing design company, Oddica. In 2002, he opened Agency 26, a lettering and design collaboration with George Soto.
As Versus Twin he now works with Brian J. Bonislawsky. This collaborative digital type foundry pits the designers' differing ideas against each other to produce original, cutting-edge typestyles. The collaboration began in 2004.
He lives in Long Beach, California and regularly posts at Typophile under the name bjharvey.
