Alfredo Graziani

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Alfredo Graziani was raised and schooled in the city too. He remained in the city to continue his education, gaining a degree in graphic design from the University of Buenos Aires. Following his studies, he travelled to Europe, where he fell in the love with the Spanish city of Barcelona, and he is now a resident of the city.

During his career, he has been associated with Umbrella Type and Sudtipos and he has designed for many companies, including Repsol, Allianz, Nippon, Acciona and Viacom. Together with Alejandro Paul, a member of the teaching staff at Buenos Aires University, he created Mama Script and Milk Script. The inspiration for Milk Script came from a 1923 Speedball lettering catalogue.

He lists his interests outside of type as history books, volleyball, jazz, and Danish food.
