Sylvia Janssen
Sylvia Janssen was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1976. After an apprenticeship in an advertising agency, she studied Graphic Design at University of Applied Sciences Hamburg (HAW Hamburg).
In 2002 she did her final diploma and set up her own graphic design studio, Büro für Gestaltung Janssen together with her husband Daniel Janssen. They are working successfully in the areas of graphic design and type design. They are both very interested in historical printing techniques, old type specimen books but also innovative approaches to type design.
