Jakob Straub
Born in Berlin, Germany, in 1975, Jakob Straub left school in 1995 and went on to study communications design. He received his diploma in 2002, when he was also honoured as the best student in his year.
He has worked with Segura Inc and T26. Between 2002 and 2004 he was with Orecchio Acerbo in Rome. When he returned to Germany, he joined LohMüller Werbeagentur, an advertising agency in Berlin, and stayed with the company until 2008. He has been published in various media, including Creative Review in 2001, 2003, and 2006, and Grafik Magazin in 2007.
Now a graphic designer, typographer, and photographer, he lives in Berlin and keeps an office in Rome. He speaks German, English and Italian.
