Heiko Hoos
Born in Neustadt, Germany in 1974, Heiko Hoos has worked as a graphic designer, type designer and illustrator. He released his first typeface, Fontomas, in 2002 and has seen his work in major design publications, such as Indie Fonts 2, Freewave, and Spatium, a magazine about typography. As well as creating fonts, he also designs T-shirts, which appear on the Threadless website.
Now a freelance designer, he is co-owner with Boris Dworschak of dworschak&hoos, a visual communications agency, which the two set up in 2005. More recently he has founded the HGO font foundry. He is based in Karlsruhe, Germany.
