Christine Gertsch
Christine Gertsch is a Swiss type designer and graphic designer. She holds a master’s degree from the Type and Media programme at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) in The Hague, The Netherlands. During her studies at the KABK, she not only intensified her passion for type but also discovered the potential of self-made tools. She likes to experiment with motion, variable fonts, interaction and creative coding.
Before starting her own studio, she has worked for various branding agencies in Hamburg, Berlin, and Zurich. Her client work includes design and branding projects for the Swiss Post, UNICEF, and Switzerland Tourism. Christine Gertsch is also a lecturer and head of continuing education courses such as “Type & Brand” at the Zurich University of the Arts.
