Ross F. George

Ross Frederick George was an American sign painter, inventor, and type designer from Seattle, Washington. He learnt the art of lettering from William Hugh Gordon, and in 1913 they both designed pens for the Hunt Pen Company.

Ross F. George also produced a The Speedball Text Book, with examples of lettering and sign painting, and he continued to release editions of this until his death in 1929.
