Carlos Campos
Carlos Campos is a Graphic Designer and typography teacher at the EASD José Nogué de Jaén and University of Jaén (Andalusia, Spain). With Viky Rodríguez he is co-founder of the event Órbitas Jaén, celebrated in the same city, and also promoter of "Cuchis", that are casual events dedicated to promote the typography culture.
With another colleague, Juan Montoro, Carlos has been working up until 2023 on the investigation and recovery of traditional letter signs in his city, as a university project called Rótulos chuléricos de Jaén (Supercool letter signs from Jaén), which is member of Red ibérica en defensa del patrimonio gráfico (Iberian net in defense of graphic heritage).
Besides, Carlos is the official dog walker of his little cute dog Kora Ampersand ("ampersand" comes from her natural position when she falls asleep on his bed).
