Kasper Pyndt Rasmussen
Kasper Pyndt Rasmussen is a Danish type designer living and working in Copenhagen.
In 2016 he graduated with an MA in Visual Communication from The Royal Academy - School of Design in Copenhagen. Subsequently he worked for a year with Urgent.Agency, where he helped digitise the brand typeface for Designmuseum Denmark.
In 2018 he established an independent practice and proceeded to develop typefaces for The National Gallery of Denmark and The Shed in New York. In 2020 he launched the type foundry Approximate Type, producing commissioned bespoke typefaces and logotypes as well as retail fonts.
Kasper is a two-time recipient of The Danish Arts Foundation's work grant and his work has additionally been awarded by Creative Circle (2018), Red Dot Design Award (2018), and Real Danish Design Awards (2020).
