Ishan Khosla
Ishan Khosla (Cochin, India, 1976) is a visual artist, designer, and researcher with an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts, New York. He is a founding partner of Ishan Khosla Design LLP and The Typecraft Initiative, which produces display typefaces based on Indian crafts and tribal arts.
Talks and exhibitions include: Typo Berlin, Atelier Muji Ginza in Tokyo; London Design Festival and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum. Ishan’s work is published in Typographic Universe; Found Type; India Contemporary Design; Bi-scriptural and the Tokyo Type Directors Club.
