Hélène Marian
A typographer and graphic designer born in Paris in 1987, Hélène Marian practices a dual design between typographical rigor and hand-painted lettering. A graduate from the Illustration DMA in 2008 and from the Type Design DSAA at École Estienne in 2010, she established her own studio after 5 years of experience as art director at Doc Levin studio.
She now works for the most varied clients: cultural institutions, architects, experimental music label, venue, winemakers, researchers.
She draws retail fonts (PVC family edited by Production Type) custom-made fonts for her clients (the Saumuroise for Saumur Wines, Viparis with Maxime Fittes, mahJ with Malou Verlomme) in parallel with a hand-made/lettered approach.
