Jörg Herz
Born in Germany in 1965, Jörg Herz studied visual communications at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Pforzheim and subsequently at Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK. He developed his headline font, Dassitzt Typos, as part of his dissertation project.
He has worked as creative director for various agencies in Munich and Berlin, but since 2005, he has worked for Coma AG, a Munich-based agency. His clients have included Bauknecht, Daimler Crysler, Mazda and Triumph International.
His work has won him various prizes, including a medal from the Type Directors Club in 2006 and a design award from If Communications.
