Hat Nguyen
Hat Nguyen was born in Saigon. He learned his English language skills after his arrival in the United States, and it was at California State University, Long Beach, where he received his degree in Graphic Design.
He has worked for companies in both Los Angeles and New York, where he has gained an extensive experience in building and designing for global brands in both online and print media.
As a result of growing up in a once colonial country, his creative sensibility is often geared towards a unique blend of minimalist and modernist approaches, even for typographical designs. He has developed several typefaces for both commercial and personal work, some of which were featured among several art and design publications.
Currently, he lives and works as a graphic designer in both the United States and Vietnam, where he also consults as a creative advisor.
