Henk Krijger (1914-1979)
Henk Krijger was a Dutch illustrator, type designer, and book designer. He designed Stichting de Roos’s tercentenary fine-press edition of Vondel’s Lucifer (1954), for which he designed his only published typeface, the Raffia Initials. The hand-drawn masters of these letters are now in the typographical library of the University of Amsterdam.
