Mike Abbink
Mike Abbink (1967) holds two BFAs. The first in fine arts and the second, from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, in graphic design and packaging. His career as a graphic designer began at Meta Design San Francisco doing corporate and web design. In March 1999 he co-founded Method, Inc., a San Francisco-based company specializing in communication strategy, interaction and graphic design.
In January 2003, Abbink accepted a position as a senior art director for the Apple graphic design team in Cupertino. Abbink lives in San Francisco with his lovely wife and continues to design typefaces in his spare time.
