Debora Manetti
Debora Manetti, together with Francesco Canovaro and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini, is a founder and creative director of Ligature, a brand focusing on the culture of type design, established in 2001.
Ligature deals with projects related to the world of typography, including Zetafonts, a type foundry based in Florence, Italy. Over the years the label Zetafonts has been producing a large portfolio of high-quality retail typefaces and font families, alongside typographic consultancy for branding and custom fonts.
Zetafonts' clients list includes Google, Apple, AirBnB, The Coca Cola Company, Universal Pictures, Netflix, Disney Publishing, World Wrestling Entertainment, Penguin, NBC Universal, At&T Usa, Sky, Mattel, and Nickelodeon Pictures.
In Ligature, she mainly deals with creative direction and new business, but occasionally she loves drawing vernacular fonts and handscripts such as Panforte, Sala de fiestas, freehand, Jamscript and custom typefaces for brands.
Debora is also a partner and strategic design consultant of Kmzero, a visual & branding agency based in Florence, Italy, with over 20 years of design projects for brands such as Vogue, Wired, Sky, Disney, Marchesi Antinori, and Lucca Comics & Games.
She has a great passion for snowboarding in powder, and having crazy adventures with family and friends.
