Anders Francker
Anders Francker is a Danish typeface designer. He was born on August 12th 1972 in Glostrup, Denmark. He was originally educated as a mechanical engineer, but besides doing technical drawings and mechanical development, he has worked on typeface design in his spare time since 2001.
He has designed the following two font families for Linotype: Francker and Francker Condensed. Both have nine weights, from Extra Light to Extra Black, and are available with the large, Paneuropean W1G character set. The Francker typeface is a clean, modern looking sans-serif with a touch of softness, according to the Scandinavian design tradition.
He lives just outside Copenhagen together with his wife, Paulina.
