Óscar Yáñez
Oscar Yáñez was born in Mexico City, obtained his bachelor’s degree in Design of Graphic Communications from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, and studied a master in Type Design in the Centro de Estudios Gestalt. He has been involved as design director in more than 30 periodical publications which led him to take several specialized courses about publications, marketing, and management. He has taught in master class at institutions such as Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and Centro de Estudios Gestalt.
He is a member of the Association Typographique International, Type Directors Club, Society of Publication Design, Society of News Design, and a founder member of the Círculo de Tipógrafos.
