Laurent Bourcellier was born in France, in 1984. He graduated in visual communication (Duperré, Paris) and in typographic design (Estienne, Paris). This has enabled him to work as a junior art director (Publicis Consultant, Paris), then as a type designer (Porchez Typofonderie). Thanks to this experience, he has build up a clientele in publishing, graphic and typographic fields, taught graphic production, gives lessons on the history of writing, and leads workshops in Art Schools.
He lives in the Franco-German border with his wife and his son. He has notably made Joos, awarded the Type Directors Club Certificate of Excellence in Type Design of New York.
