Kent Swecker
After studying biology at UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina native Kent Swecker decided to pursue a career in graphic design. Makes sense, right? After attending the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, NC, Kent worked at a few companies before starting his own, A New Machine, in 2002.
Font design followed a few years later and Kent has made enough money off that to feed his habit of buying CDs - yes, physical copies of music. How late '90s. Kent also enjoys reading books printed on paper, has no Facebook account and does not even own a cell phone of any kind. A regular luddite. He lives in Raleigh with his wife and two kids.
