Laure Afchain
Laure Afchain was born in Toulouse, France, in 1984. She first studied in Toulouse's fine arts school. Fascinated by communication and its different forms, she mainly worked in the typography, illustration and story telling fields, always searching for the most direct and the most efficient ways to express her questioning. She also discovered type design during her fine arts studies.
After getting her fine arts diploma, she got into Type and Media in the Hague, (The Netherlands) where she graduated in 2009 with an MA in type design. Laure Afchain is currently living and working in Paris as a graphic and type designer.
