Information about the typeface designer Simon Schmidt and his fonts.
Studied graphic design and typography at Parsons School of Design, New York, and at Kunstschule Alsterdamm in Hamburg, Germany. After 3 years of working as an art director in advertising. He moved on to be a self-employed graphic and type designer specializing in corporate design.
Simon's work has been featured in the German design magazine PAGE as well as several books including "Alphabook" and "Typographics 4". He has published several freeware fonts under his own label, Closefonts.
