Fabian Rottke
Fabian Rottke is from Essen in Germany. He studied Communication Design, specialising in type and typography, completing his education in 1995. While he was studying he had already begun to design type, and has since become known as a designer of unorthodox fonts.
Since 2007 he has been creative director at Edenspiekermann, based in Berlin. He has headed up projects with the company for some of Germany's biggest companies, including Bauwelt, Deutsche Bahn, Bosch, Commerzbank and ZDF. The commission from TV company ZDF involved designing fonts and logos for its news programme, Heute.
