Alex Scholing
When Alex Scholing (1961) made his first typeface FF Engine he was just a regular graphic designer, and didn't know anything about designing type. Since then he's caught up and now he's a real type designer. The first result of that is FF Roice, an extensive redesign of his first typeface, that took seven years to do. His newest type design is called AmsterdamSans and it’s almost done.
Alex studied Graphic Design at the academy of arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. He is co-founder of Amsterdam based design office Eat.
