Frank Baranowski
Frank Baranowski has been designing typefaces since 1992. Although he published two fonts via Elsner+Flake - Mrs Beasley and - and one font via Letraset - Phoenikia - he has been designing more for his own pleasure.
He has recently set up his own Web site Transkrypt as a space for unused and unusual type and typography or a space for experiments in type and typography.
His personal influences come obviously from Ed Benguiat and Friedrich Poppl, among other designers, and from public origins like magazines, printed T-Shirts, comics, pop music, and even graffiti.
