 Information about the font designer Alec Julien and his typefaces.
Alec Julien grew up in New York City, wishing for only two things: someday living somewhere besides New York City, and better handwriting. Spending most of his high school years working on his handwriting, and most of his college years getting away from New York, both goals have finally been met. He now lives in Vermont, wishing for shorter winters.
His web design and font creation studio, Haiku Monkey Media, often wishes for a new computer. And shorter winters. Alec's most popular font, AJ Hand, is based on his own handwriting.
