Elena Albertoni
Elena Albertoni is an Italian type designer. She studied graphic design in Amiens, France (École supérieure d'Art et de Design), and later specialised in type design in Paris (DSAA Typo at École Estienne).
She made her first steps into the profession with the decisive experience at LucasFonts in Berlin, Germany, assisting Dutch type master Luc(as) de Groot for seven years.
Together with Fritz Grögel she recently set up LetterinBerlin, a studio dedicated to handmade and digital design, particularly focused on lettering.
