Josep Patau Bellart

Josep Patau Bellart runs Antaviana, a Catalan font foundry. Previously, he worked at the Astramat foundry. He is one of the founders of the Spanish type information website, Unos Tipos Duros. At the ATypl 2009 conference in Mexico City, he gave a paper explaining the typographic work of the goldsmith Manuel Peleguer.

His Anduaga calligraphic typeface won the Laus Prize, which is considered by many to be the Spanish equivalent of the type Oscars. Confetti was named as one of typgraphica.org's favourite typefaces of 2006.
