Julian Morey

Julian Morey graduated from St. Martin School of Art, London in 1988 with a B.A. Hons in Graphic Design. Shortly afterwards he joined Peter Saville Associates where he produced graphics for Factory Records, New Order, Paul McCartney and The Haçienda; amongst others. Since 1991 he has worked independently as a freelance design consultant for a diverse range of clients including Pentagram, Lewis Moberly, Graphic Thought Facility, Cyberia, Boots, Habitat, Pompidou Centre, WIRED, The Face, Arena and The Independent.

Club-21 was founded in 1999 as an outlet for Morey's eclectic mix of typefaces. Morey's interest in pop and urban culture are documented in this collection of stencils, dot and square matrix, modular, LCD, typewriter, signage, and mechanically produced fonts.
