Mattia Bonanomi
Mattia Bonanomi is a graphic and type designer from Italy.
He attended a BA in Visual Arts at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. In 2008 he moved to London where he graduated with an MA in Communication Design at the Central Saint Martins College. Here, as part of his thesis project, he developed two typefaces – MTT Milano and MTT Roma – exploring and reinterpreting aspects of the rich Italian typographic tradition.
In 2014 he founded his own Milan-based design practice, the FIRM, which provides consulting and typographic services to brands worldwide.
Through Type Firm, the FIRM's digital foundry, he continues to release retail and custom typefaces.
