Gia Tran
Gia Tran is a self-taught calligrapher and type designer. He has over fifteen years of experience in calligraphy, lettering, and type design.
He has worked for different companies: Dragon Rouge (Paris), 4uatre (Paris), A&Mcreative (Paris), and Saffron Brand Consultants (Madrid).
He also taught calligraphy and type design in several design schools including Strate College Designer (industrial design school) and Intuitlab (design and visual communication school).
He now works at Black Foundry, a collaborative type factory, as a calligrapher, type designer, and Type Director.
He lives with his wife and two children In France and he loves gardening and travelling.
