Fabian Widmer
Fabian Widmer was born in Zürich, Switzerland, in 1981, and studied Type Design/Typography at The Basel School of Design. After working two years as a typographer he launched his own type design studio together with Dominique Bössener. The studio is called Letterwerk.
Last year in October a facade in Zürich inspired him to design a retro font. The Building stands in the old "industry district" in Zürich and the lettering on the building is one of the few to this day remaining witness of this time. The new font is named Carrosserie and is now fresh prepared and waiting for advert to new contents with a beautiful envelope. This capital letter font has alternate characters and special domain symbols; see Carrosserie Domain Symbols.
