Samuel Čarnoký
Samuel Čarnoký is a graphic designer, type designer, and lecturer from Slovakia. He is a graduate of the Studio of Visual Communication at the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University of Košice, with a teaching position there since 2009.
In terms of graphic design, he focuses on type design, typography, and editorial design. He is the author or co‑author of several publications about typography in Slovakia (Fonts SK; Neon lights and advertising typography in eastern Slovakia till 1989).
In 2010 he founded CarnokyType, focused on producing high quality display and text fonts for various kinds of typographic use. He lives and works in Košice (Slovakia).
